So, I just came back from the free Super Junior-M concert in Putrajaya. It was one of the best concert experience I’ve had. The concert started on time at 10pm, but my cousin and I arrived earlier at 6pm. We saw the pictures on Twitter at 5pm that the crowd was huge, so we didn’t expect to get a good place, but fortunately for us, the Prime Minister was giving a speech on stage when we arrived. And when he left, some of the crowd left with him, and we managed to squeeze to near the front of the stage!
After a couple of local acts whose names I don’t remember, we waited for an hour until the boys came on stage. Serena C was the emcee of the night, and I’m surprised that she knows how to speak Mandarin well!
Donghae and Siwon weren’t here and I assume they were back in Taiwan filming for their drama series. The other 6 guys started the show with “Perfection”. I recorded a fancam for that performance, and I am proud to say that the visual is super clear. teehee. It’s just that, it takes time to upload them on Youtube. I shall update this post with the videos later on.
For a free concert, this was actually quite an enjoyable one! The crowd wasn’t as rough and as pushy as I expected them to be. I actually had quite sufficient breathing space throughout the concert! After their first song, they had a Q&A session with Serena C on stage. She asked them to introduce themselves, and they did, some in English, some in Mandarin, and some in Korean. Henry said that since today is Youth Day, “It’s not about us, it’s about you guys!” And the crowd shrieked, of course. Serena C asked which member is the shyest, which is the ‘baby’ of the group, and which is the responsible one, and the members answered them with Kyuhyun, Henry and Sungmin respectively. When the members all agreed that Henry was the ‘baby’ of the group, he started singing a line of Justin Bieber’s “Baby”, to the delight of all fans.
The next song they performed was “Blue Tomorrow”. Ah, this was one of my favourite Super Junior-M songs. Too bad Donghae and Siwon weren’t there to perform it! ):
They had another Q&A session again, this time, the questions were asked by 6 lucky fans! Serena C picked them out from the crowd, and each fan got to hug one member! We were all dying of jealousy, ZhouMi knelt down and kissed the fan’s hand, and Eunhyuk even gave the lucky gal a back hug!
After that was the solo stage. Henry performed his solo track, “Off My Mind” with 2 dancers. Ah, he’s just too cute! Then, ZhouMi sang a cover of Malaysian artist, Z-cheng’s song, “Three In The Morning”. Apparently, Z-cheng is also a good friend of ZhouMi’s! Ryeowok sang a classic Chinese song, “I Only Care For You” by Teresa Teng, while Kyuhyun performed a cover of A-Mei’s “If You Have Heard”. I think the most interesting performance would be Eunhyuk’s! He danced to Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean” and “Smooth Criminal”. I recorded Henry’s, Kyuhyun’s and Eunhyuk’s solo stage, so you can look forward to those, too! Hehe.
After the solo stage, all 6 came back out and interacted with the fans a little, this time, without a translator by their side. So, they communicated with the fans with their limited range of English words they know while some spoke fluently in Mandarin. Of course, there were the compulsory attempt of speaking in Bahasa Malaysia, saying things like, “Aku Cinta Kamu” and “Apa Khabar?”
They said their goodbyes, and they thanked the fans for their passionate support. On that note, they started singing “Destiny”, a slow number off of their latest record. My cousin, who is obsessed with Kyuhyun, took a picture of his butt from the back. Lol.
They went backstage, but we all knew that they were going to sing one more song, probably their biggest hit to date, “Super Girl”, so we shouted for encore, and as expected, they came out again to perform that song!
The mini-concert, or a fan meeting, as Henry calls it, lasted for close to an hour and a half. I had a really great time there. This was waaaay better than Super Show 3! Maybe that has to do with me being so close to the stage. Haha. But again, I still kinda feel sad that I didn’t get to see my number one biased, Donghae, though.
Ah, I will post all the fancams I recorded, hopefully by tomorrow. So, yeah! Hehe (:
Note: All fancams have been uploaded and posted up!

You’re welcome! The reason why I recorded those performances was because I wanted to share them with people who couldn’t be there, or people who wanted to relive the concert!
